Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern every aspect of the relationship between you and the operator of Daily Tarot Fortune ("we", "us") in connection with your use of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If we amend these Terms, we will set an effective date, post the amended Terms on the Service, and, where appropriate, notify you by email or other means. The amended Terms take effect on the stated effective date.

Article 2 (The Service)

The Service is an entertainment subscription that delivers a tarot card and a daily fortune reading on our website and by email.

Reading texts are selected, based on the date, from a large library of patterns generated in advance using artificial intelligence (AI). They are not individual readings performed for you by a human reader.

Readings are provided for entertainment and self-reflection only. We do not guarantee any future event, outcome, benefit, or other result, and the content is not a substitute for medical, legal, tax, investment, psychological, or any other professional advice.

Article 3 (Registration)

Registration is completed by entering your email address and password in the designated form and agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

We may refuse or cancel a registration that contains false, erroneous, or incomplete information.

If you are a minor, please use the Service only with the consent of a legal guardian.

Article 4 (Fees and Auto-Renewal)

The Service is an auto-renewing subscription at $6.99 per year plus applicable tax. Unless you cancel, your subscription renews every year on the anniversary of your subscription start date, and you will be charged $6.99 plus applicable tax at each renewal.

Payment is processed by credit card through Stripe. Currency conversion or card issuer fees may apply depending on your card; such fees are borne by you.

If we change the price, we will announce the change in advance on the Service and by email or other means before it takes effect.

Article 5 (Cancellation)

You can cancel the Service at any time from the billing page in your account. No phone call is required to cancel.

After cancellation, the Service remains available until the end of your already-paid period. Once cancellation is complete, no charges apply from the next renewal date onward.

Article 6 (Refunds)

We will refund payments in the following cases:

- Mistaken or duplicate charges: the relevant amount is refunded. - A renewal charge made after cancellation: the renewal charge is refunded. - An extended outage of the Service caused by our systems: handled case by case according to the impact.

Refunds requested solely because you were not satisfied with the content of a reading are generally not available. However, nothing in this article limits any statutory rights you may have under the laws of your place of residence (including cooling-off or withdrawal rights).

Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct)

You must not, in connection with your use of the Service:

- Reproduce, republish, or redistribute the content of the Service without authorization - Use the Service impersonating another person - Interfere with the operation of the Service - Violate applicable laws or public order and morals

Article 8 (Suspension and Changes)

We may suspend or change all or part of the Service without prior notice where system maintenance, incident response, or other unavoidable circumstances require it.

Article 9 (Disclaimers)

The fortune-telling content provided by the Service is for entertainment purposes, and we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or usefulness.

Our liability for damages you incur in connection with the Service is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence, to damages involving life or bodily injury, or to any liability that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.

Article 10 (Intellectual Property)

Intellectual property rights in the texts, images, card designs, and other content included in the Service belong to us or to their rightful owners.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. However, this provision does not limit any consumer protection rights that cannot be excluded by contract under the laws of your place of habitual residence.

Any dispute arising in connection with the Service is subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction of the Tokyo Summary Court or the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance. This does not exclude any jurisdictional rights you may have under mandatory laws.
